Easy to make at home cupcake frosting

This frosting is simple and quick - can be used for any cake, cookies, cupcakes or cake pops


2 sticks butter, softened
2 lbs. powdered sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 t. salt
1 t. clear vanilla
1/2 t. almond or any other flavor ( banana, etc)


Mix 1/2 the bag of sugar with the softened butter. Add the rest of ingredients and mix. Add the rest of the sugar and beat in an upright mixer for 8 -10 minutes. This can be frozen for 6 months and refrigerated for 2 - 3 weeks.
This is a good base icing for chocolate buttercream too!
